Virginia is certified in the administration, interpretation, and implementation of the following Hogan assessments:

Hogan’s assessments include a variety of scales that create profiles to reveal a person's reasoning skills, competencies, values, and leadership characteristics, helping HR and senior management understand the underlying sources of employees' (and potential employees') behaviors. Data from the assessments produce easy-to-read reports that contain recommendations for hiring and development.

Element B (originally FIRO B)

Virginia is a licensed practitioner and certified to administer, interpret and provide feedback on the Element B, based on FIRO theory, created by Will Schutz, Ph.D.  This instrument is well-suited for individual leader and measures interpersonal interaction across three behavioral dimensions, and its primary purpose is to provide informatoin for expanding self-awareness:

  • Inclusion - the amount of interaction that a person exhibits toward others, receives from others and wants to exhibit and receive. Inclusion refers to how much interaction a person wants.
  • Control - the structure of the interaction that a person exhibits toward others, receives from others and wants to exhibit and receive. Control refers to influence, decisionmaking and being in charge.
  • Openness - the depth of interaction that a person exhibits toward others, receives from others and wants to exhibit and receive. Openness refers to sharing of personal feelings and thoughts with others.evelopment, team development and organizational improvement.

DiSC Profiles

This instrument helps people identify how much of each of the four dimensions of behavior (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness) they tend to exhibit in a particular situation. Knowing team members’ profile, helps managers discover how their behavioral style may be interpreted by their colleagues. Managers can then learn to maximize their strengths and help the people they manage become more effective.

Motivational Appraisal of  Personal Potential ( MAPP)

MAPP is a world-class personal assessment that takes 15 minutes to complete. MAPP identifies your true motivations toward work and allows you to match yourself to job categories to see where you best fit.

What is professional coaching?
The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative  process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional  potential. Coaching honors the client as the expert in his/her life and  work and believes that every client is creative, resourceful, and whole.

The professional coach's responsibility is to:

  • Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve;
  • Encourage client’s self-discovery and self-awareness;
  • Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies; and
  • Hold the client responsible and accountable, whole and unique.

As Professional Coaches, we are trained and experienced to listen, observe and customize our approach to individual client needs. We seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; we believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. Our role is to provide support to enhance the  skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.
